GoArmyEd is the virtual gateway for Soldiers to request Tuition Assistance (TA) online, anytime, for classroom, distance learning, and eArmyU online/college courses.
GoArmyEd is a dynamic online portal that automates many of the paper-based processes Soldiers historically conducted with their Army education counselor.

- Colleges to deliver degree and course offerings and to report Soldier progress
All requests for Tuition Assistance by Soldiers must be processed through GoArmyEd.
SOC serves as the Academic Facilitator for GoArmyEd. A team of Academic Liaisons works with the participating colleges to assist them in entering and maintaining their programs, courses, and classes in the portal. SOCAD coordinates with HQ Army Continuing Education System, the IT Integrator, and participating colleges to ensure that the postsecondary educational needs of Soldiers are adequately addressed. SOC Degree Network System Course Category Codes are integrated into the GoArmyEd system.
