SOCCOAST consists of degree programs offered by institutions on or accessible to Coast Guard installations, or selected for non-traditional educational delivery such as Distance Learning or Learning Assessment. Institutional participation in SOCCOAST is based on the education needs of the Coast Guard as determined by its voluntary education branch. Because policies and procedures vary, colleges interested in pursuing membership should contact the SOCCOAST Project Director. Questions can be sent to: soccoast@aascu.org.
